My four day cigar smoking binge ended with a powerful smoke by Alec Bradley. In order to meet the demand for bigger and more full bodied smokes, Alec Bradley created the MAXX series. Each cigar in this series measures over a 50 ring gauge. The Freak, a toro sized smoke which measures 6.37 x 60  took me just over two hours to smoke. The MAXX series of smokes are a 5 country cornucopia of tobacco. The fillers are from Colombia, Nicaragua, Mexico and Honduras. The binder hails from Costa Rica and is finished with a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper.  I picked the perfect smoke to conclude my smoking orgy.

The Freak was a super sized smoke packed full of earth & leather flavor. It lit very easily and maintained an even burn throughout the 6 plus inches of tobacco. I was able to get a 2.5 inch ash off this bad boy. My table and the one next to me were all waiting for it to fall. It finally did an hour after I fired it up.  The Freak runs for about $90 for a box of 20.  The MAXX series comes in five sizes: The Fix (6x58), The Freak (6.37 x 60), The Culture (6.5 x 54), The Curve (7 x 50) and The Ego (9.25 x 50). All these smokes are priced under $100 a box. A great value for a great smoke. The MAXX by Alec Bradley is a full flavored line of smokes that can knock a virgin cigar smoker on his ass.
