Ashton Virgin Sun Grown

What better way to nurse a Jimmy Buffett hangover than with an Ashton VSG. For those of you who smoked this cigar know it's fine craftsmanship and taste. For those of you who have not, go out and get one. This smoke is one of my top ten all-time favorite smokes. It is the price and availability that are a bitch. Needless to say, after a hard night at the Jimmy Buffet concert and drinking as many margaritas as possible, the Ashton VSG is just what the doctor ordered.

This afternoon at poolside I fired up my last VSG in my humidor. This smoke is a complex blend of 6 Cuban-seed Dominican fillers. Also included is a extra rich ligero leaf for a deeper flavor. It is finished with an Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper. It has an awesome draw, burn and taste. The full body smoke is not for a beginner, so beware! The smoke runs for about $10 a stick and $250 for a box of 24. However, good luck trying to get a full box. These smokes are usually sold individually. Thanks to my pool fountains, Bloody Mary and my VSG the afternoon was very therapeutic.

This gem is very worthy of a Golden Monkey Award! Voted one of the top cigars of 2007, if you disagree please visit the Monkey Forum at let me know which were your favorite cigars this year.

Dan you are a lucky man, you can't get tickets to Buffett here. It would be hard not to have a blast! That smoke would be the perfect ending to a great weekend!

I gotta agree with Stinkie, it sounds like a perfect weekend. I have a few Ashton VSGs sitting in my humidor, waiting for a special occasion...

I've heard Buffet still does concerts, I wonder if he goes on tours... I should look into that. I've never been to one, but I've been a fan for ages.
